OnBoard is an Erasmus+ project that helps SMEs strengthen their onboarding practices through research, practical tools and training resources.
The project supports HR managers, team leaders and trainers with guidance to integrate new employees effectively, improve retention and develop a stronger workplace culture.
Main Goals
Improved Onboarding Practices
Enhance HR and onboarding practices in SMEs through a structured onboarding curriculum aligned with EU labour market needs.
Training–Practice Integration
Bridge the gap between training and practice by combining online learning (MOOC), blended pilot activities and work-based learning.
Digital Support Tools
Develop digital tools, including the OnBoard Collaborative Platform and OnBoard Toolkit, to support onboarding, retention and performance tracking in SMEs.
Employability and Inclusion
Increase employability and skills development with special attention to inclusive participation and gender balance.
European Cooperation
Foster cooperation and knowledge exchange among European SMEs, VET providers, HEIs and relevant stakeholders.
