This website is created for the dissemination and promotion of the project
“Supporting European SMEs improving onboarding procedures to defeat turnover and become more resilient” (OnBoard), Project reference number: 2025-1-IT01-KA220-VET-000358740. For the purposes of this policy, the project will be referred to as “OnBoard”.

The current Privacy Policy describes how the website “OnBoard” collects, uses, stores and protects personal information provided by users through the contact form, newsletter subscription and through the direct use of the website, including analytical and promotional materials related to it.

The “OnBoard” project partners are committed to protecting your privacy and process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

What information do we collect? 

We are allowed to collect the following personal data categories:

  • When filling out the contact form: name, email address, telephone number, organization, as well as any other information voluntarily included in the message.

  • When subscribing to the newsletter: name, organization and email address. 

  • Automatically through the website: usage data, including IP address, device type, browser, interface language, approximate location and interaction with the website, collected via Google Analytics or similar analytical tools. 

Purposes for processing personal data

The collected information is processed solely for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries, submitted via the contact form.

  • To send newsletters and project news to the users, subscribed to the form, only after having explicitly agreed to it.

  • To improve the content, navigation and functionality of the website based on user behaviour analysis. 

  • To adapt the communication, dissemination and information activities of the project to the needs of stakeholders.

Legal basis for processing personal data

In the context of using the OnBoard website, subscribing to the newsletter, or participating in project activities, personal data are processed on the basis of one or more of the following legal grounds, in accordance with Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the OnBoard Terms of Service.

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR)
    Personal data are processed when users have given their explicit consent, for example when:

    • submitting a contact form,

    • subscribing to the newsletter,

    • registering for project events or dissemination activities.

Consent is provided in accordance with the OnBoard Privacy Policy and the OnBoard Terms of Service and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

  • Contract / pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
    Personal data may be processed where necessary to:

  • take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contractual or participation relationship;

  • manage participation in project activities such as events, pilot actions, training sessions or access to digital tools.

Such processing is carried out in accordance with the OnBoard Terms of Service, which define the conditions for using the website and participating in project activities.

    Personal data may be processed where required to comply with legal obligations, including Erasmus+ Programme rules, reporting and audit requirements, and applicable EU or national legislation.

  • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
    Personal data may be processed for the legitimate interests of the OnBoard consortium, such as:

    • improving website performance and user experience,

    • monitoring dissemination effectiveness,

    • ensuring proper communication of project results,
      provided that such interests do not override the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subjects and are consistent with the expectations set out in the OnBoard Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Newsletter subscription

By subscribing to the newsletter, you confirm that you have become familiar with the current Privacy policy and give your explicit consent for the project “OnBoard” partners to collect and utilize your personal data only for the purposes of project communication. The data will only be used for sending information, linked to the project, such as newsletters, event invitations, results and other activities. 

Your personal data will not be shared with third parties, unless it is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation or a particular project activity within the scope of “OnBoard”, in compliance with the applicable safeguards. 

Data security

We apply the appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. All information collected online is securely stored and processed exclusively within the scope of the “OnBoard” project.

Sharing with third parties
